someone please help!
Okay, so I was going to do the y7 to y8 manifold swap, but then I realized i would just wait until I got all of my parts for my turbo build. I had already taken off the tb and fuel rail and whatnot. When I put it back together, it started fine, and then as soon as I tapped the gas and then let it idle, the idle began jumping back and forth from 1k to 2k, not just randomly, rhythmically. I double checked every single line making sure I hooked it up right. I am positive I did, b/c I used the exact same car parked next to it as a reference point. Hoping that maybe somehow the IACV just got dirty or something when I took it off, I took it apart again and cleaned it squeaky clean, and still I get the jumping idle!!! Can somebody please help me???

Re: (DC_RaceR)
I am using the stock y7 throttle body, and I know the sensors are plugged in right. The throttle body gasket sheds new light though. You think its possible that old gasket could be causing the leak? I hope so...
Thanks for your help

Okay, I am posititive there are no vacuum leaks. It is still messed up. I have heard that there could be some air in the coolant lines going to the iacv. Is this possible? If so, how do you fix it?

Re: (schpiel)
Get some carb cleaner and spray around small areas of your manifold. If your engine reacts differently when sprayed then you will find your vacuum leak culprit.
Try this and you will be amazed. One of your vacuum lines could have a small hole from being pryed off or loose.
Could be almost anything but def. think its vacuum related. Also look around your map sensor.
