sohc turbo kits

Re: sohc turbo kits (lazy bum shaughn)
I know Greddy comes at 5.5 and can be adjusted to 7 or something, but it will take 15 maximum after you put more $$$ into the kit.

Re: sohc turbo kits (Irishweird00)
You can go as high as 20-25lb on either one of these kits, but you have gone past the efficiency range..meaning you are not making any power due to significant backpressure. I would, however, say that the Greddy will do fine up to 12 and the Apexi IHI turbo can handle a bit more and still be within optimal efficiency. Both are great turbos, which I wished I would have purchased instead of the crappy Turbonetics that I have now.

i have a greddy kit for my z6. the bottom end is rebuilt. before it goes in it will have hondata, dsm 450cc, stock 2" dp for now, 3" dp back exhaust w/ no cat. 1st gen dsm smic...and like 2" pipes from turbo to intake manifold. i am going ot have it set at 10psi. i hope all this stuff tuned on a dyno will be a good, fast, reliable swap.
