so i got a b20z.....
i recently got a b20z bottom end with a gsr head, basic bolt ons (intake, headers, intake manifold, and koyo radiator. i had wanted to run hondata s100 but i was told that my block could not handle this without sleeves.....is this true??

yeah the only thing that would comprimise the the block would be forced induction. If the motor runs now I would think that with adding Hondata and tuning it will not do anything but make it better/safer as long as it is done right.

Re: so i got a b20z..... (CALIdelsolSIR)
the only reason why people run sleeved b20's is if they are doing forced induction and are pushing more tha 7psi and even 7 is alot already for a stock b20. Since you have a b20Z you are better of than most because the b20z has better pistons which create a higher compression and the 99- b20z is made a little more stronger than the prior ones. I had a b20 vtec check my sig..and it hauled *** it was semi built and ran like a champ...hope that helps...
