so i change the clutch this $h17 happens!
after changing the clutch, i tighten all the bolts car turn on but its running only with 2 cylinder...!
NEW INJECTORS
NEW SPARKPLUG WIRES
NEW SPARKPLUGS
NEW DIZZY NOT REBUILT, BRAND NEW
IT does starts and run but only on 2 cylinder, because when i took one of the spark plug out ( #1 by timing belt) the car doesnt make any difference or lose idle and so does the one by the dizzy #4 ......but 3 and 2 is ok,
this never happened before i change the clutch..... so basically it sounds like the wrx with loud exhaust.

make sure all of your wires are connected properly, try replacing them with your old one and see if it works. To connect the wires properly, pull the rubber piece back and stick the metal part into the distributor and put the rubber piece back in place.

The fact that it's 1/4 and 2/3 points to timing--you either have it 180 at the crank or the distributor--when you put the timing belt back on and you put mark on the crank pulley pointing up did you actually make sure that 1 was at tdc?? I usually stick a straw in the spark plug hole or something cause that mark is going to be up on tdc and bdc so you have to make sure it's tdc--I'm willing to bet that's the problem.

Re: (fmrprojects)
Also, while your there looking make sure all your grounds are clean and intact to save problems later on ( especially where you took tranny out)
and when you put the dizzy in, did you try to line it up where the old one was positioned? ( where it bolts into the head)
