clutch petal
ok here is the deal i finally got my swap in and running(b16) in my 97 civic lx i have minor problems like my valves need to be adjusted and i need to check the timing belt tentionor but now i have a new problem i bleed the clutch line because i had to get a new slave cylinder because mine was leaking and now with the engine off the clutch petal goes in and out like normal but when the engine is on the petal doesn't come out all the way and i have no clue why! i have a Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch kit in the engine. anyone one have any clue why it would be doing that? please let me know thanks guys

I dident think the clutch pedal was assisted in anyway by the engine like the brake pedal for example. But thats just my opinion and i could be wrong.

Re: clutch petal (nocternaldragon)
honestly i really dont know either. i was thinking the clutch might run off the brake booster as some vehicles do. i bled mine with the engine off, and it took a long time btw.

Re: clutch petal (yaya)
did you have the same problem? i mean when i step on it with the engine off it is perfect but when the engine is running it engages quickly but the petal doesn't come out all the way it gets stuck half way but is doesn't rub or anything while it is halfway in i don't get it...
