Smoke?
First of let me say im new here and looking for some good stuff, i recently bought a 1993 civic hatchback motor has a d16 block with ex head. 1.5 soch vtec. and well today my buddy and i were messing around,so when he turned from a street and i did the same i gunned it down caught up and flew right by him, he said it was smoking. and well i thought ok what the hell? so we drove around and he kept and eye on my muffler(stock for now) and well he said it does it at a high RPM, but still is the smoke safe as in engine wise? engine has 70k miles and just changed the oil today right after it started.

Re: Smoke? (93gunner)
You're probably burning oil (or running a little rich).. Most Honda engine's will have this problem @ high RPM's at a certain mileage (that I've seen so far) so don't worry about it too much.. Keep an eye on your oil levels and maybe try switching out on the next oil change to 10w-30 and see if that helps any (if you find any oil leaking)
you can always change out your seals and **** or rebuild your engine, but that's usually not worth it unless you want to do major mods to the car. Better yet, swap the engine if you really want to.

Re: (93gunner)
I'm dying for an h22 (im broke) but it's gonna cost ya with needing new everything just about... Good luck. The swap is much much harder than a b16a2 or b18c_ so hope everything works out when you do that.
