when you know you just poured a full tank of gas and the gauge reads empty still.
it's possible that the fuel sending unit went bad. not sure how you test to see if your guage is bad or not, but bump for you

borrow someone's dx cluster and check it .. if it is the cluster .. you mind as well have more luck buying a new cluster than replacing the fuel gauge as far as i know .. =\

Like $23 or something like that for the temp/fuel cluster from honda. I was suprised as hell. I was expecting like $200 or something when I first went to look it up.
