There are SiR coupes, hatches and sedans.

Asking what's the difference between a Civic Type-R and a Civic SiR... well, that's difficult to answer because of what SiRs are in the many different countries they're available in.

Civic Type-R
EK9
Sold only in Japan.
Only available as a hatchback.
B16B
1.6L DOHC VTEC I4
185 hp @ 8200 rpm
118 lb-ft @ 7500 rpm
10.8:1 cr

Civic SiR
EK4 (hatch/sedan) / EM1 (coupe)
Sold in many different markets.
Available in coupe, hatch or sedan, depending on the market.
B16A / B16A2
1.6L DOHC VTEC I4
160 hp @ 7600 rpm
111 lb-ft @ 7000 rpm
10.2:1 cr
