1) The USDM Civic Si coupe / Canadian SiR coupe / European VTi coupe all have the same front as any other 1999 to 2000 Honda Civic. The only difference is the EM1 gets a different grille (at least in some countries) and has a standard front lip. ALL other coupes in the US have the same front lip available, only it's an option for them.

2) The sixth generation Honda Civic SiR ran from 1996 to 2000. So it has two different front ends. If you're referring to the European '96-'98 hatch/sedan front (which I think you are), then thats' a different story. The only difference being the moldings of course.

As I've mentioned in past posts, there are more OEM lip options for the '96-'98 front end (three compared with one).

Which front would be better would be better based on what you would plan to do with either front, though I'm big into, "If you wanted a '99-'00, you should have bought one in the first place." The Euro conversion would only need those bumpers and nothing more.

The funny thing being that neither trim level is exclusively JDM. In fact, the EM1 was never sold in Japan.

In fact, since I too am tired of the JDM hype (people thinking everything from Japan is a gift from god himself and that Japan got all the "cool cars) here's a list of the 6th gen Civics that Japan really got.
