Default sensor question?

okay so i was taking out the b16a out of my buddies crashed civic. and when i got it out with the engine hoist the engine jerked and crushed my sensor that is connected to the throttle . not the map sensor but i thinks it is the throttle position sensor. any way do i need to get a sensor from a b16 or can i use any throttle sensor from a single cam or does it have to be exactly from a b16a?

not to sure if one from a d-series would fit, but any from a b-series would.

sensors are the same D:B - interchangeable.
you DO need a multimeter to install it correctly...you cant just slap it on and call it quits - you need to wiggle it around to get each pin into spec

you can cut the the rivets off (heads) or try cutting slots into them and back it out with a screwdriver.
like i said, you need a multimeter to see the readings on each pin, with the throttle closed - it reads throttle position, afterall
readings will change when its moved around on the TB
