then walk away, i personally wouldn't pay more than 1000 dollars for a 10 year old salvaged civic.

do you know why it has a salvaged tittle, other than the o2 sensor whats wrong. brakes clutch anything.??

sounds like a good price, but start at 1000. You live in houston dont you??

1000 sounds like a good price or the 1500 ?

and yes.. i am the guy that is looking for a hatch for a month now...

soulless.. what do you think the price should be ?

he said the 02 sensor is just old..

he said the tranny and the clutch works perfectly..

1500 isnt bad..id sat get it, and i remeber you say you had like 4k to spend on it, 1500 for the car and the rest on suspension and motor.

its not that bad..i mean if thats your last resort and if you need one really bad, then go for it, its not like you cant fix all those little problems that is there on the car, and what are you gonna expect from a salvage car? IMO just grab it..

i wouldnt pay anything over 1000 you can't even use a slavage title in florida

make sure u know the laws in your state

yeah, except for the possible frame damage and other serious problems associated with a salvaged car. even if the guy says it is a theft salvage, he could be lying. salvage titles arn't specified, so you never know what the hell happened to it.

thx guys. i have talked to the guy .. and he said 1700 is as low as he can go.. so i backed off.. i wonder who is going to buy a salvaged 92 HB for 1700

Well I finalized the deal with my Civic tonight, now it's sitting in my driveway. It's a white 92 Civic cx hatch. 5 speed, 99,500 miles, clear title, has a rust spot on the left quarter panel where all civics have rust. the passengers side quarter panel is fine. The headgasket is leaking, but it still drives fine. I'm gonna do that next week, in addition to timing belt, valve seals, and water pump, for maintenance. I paid $800. You live in Houston, there appear to be a lot of good deals coming from there, on ebay and such. best of luck to you
