nope not hard to do at all. search get the ecu pin outs. run the wires vtec/oil pressure switch/ knock sensor through the little hole in the fire wall ( has a rubber groumet in it)right by the battery and it comes out right by the ecu plug them up and you have vtec. takes about 30-45mins depending on how good u are with wiring & splicing

No not hard to do at all. If you goto http://www.hasport.com/Tech/Wring/EGDX-GSR.pdf this will show you all the wiring conversions you will have to make to put a GSR motor in your DX civic. MAKE SURE you use the proper guage wires since most electrical signals for the ECU are very sensative to extra resistance. If need need any other help with this swap let me know. HAPPY TUNING!!!

I don't have AOL right now. You can use the Honda-Tech im system. With wiring it is very crutial to take your time. Make sure it is done to perfection the first time. Before anything goes wrong. I had two wires on my MAP sensor switched and it cause my ECU to think I was at full throttle 100% of the time. This caused me to get 9-11mpg with premium gas. OUCH!! it hurt. But thats all fixed now. Just an example. An even worse example is a fried computer. Go ahead man, ask away. I will do my best to help. HAPPY TUNING!!!

Vtec is very easy to wire aslong as you got the acutall ECU pins because it's about the only thing that plugs in the harness. You will also have to change the one wire o2 to 4 wire, so it would be better if you have some one around who did this before.
