obd1 gsr swap into 93 civic dx (vtec wires)
ok ive had my swap in for awhile now and i was wondering if i forgot to do something...
when running the extra wires to the ecu needed for VTEC, i only ran two... vtec oil pres switch and vtec solenoid wire. is there other wires i was supposed to run for the IAB and Knock sensor?
am i not getting everything out of this motor that I should be? vtec hits at 4400, and i do kinda feel an extra pull at 5700, but nothing too crazy.

Re: obd1 gsr swap into 93 civic dx (dunkd)
ok so i decided to search and this topic seems to be a mess... so many people complaining about there IAB's not working.
after reading for about 15min ive come to the conclusion that all i have to do is run the pink/blue wire to A17 and run the yel/blk wire to a 12v.
this right?

All you have to do is move the red wire from A17 to A20 on your ecu side harness. There was a thread on this a couple of weeks ago but I can't seem to find it.
I have done this and I know it works. HERE'S PROOF.

Yes, take the wire from a20 and put it in a17. Your knock sensor will be run to d3 as well. If you are running the gsr engine harness and mating it with your civic dash harness, then simply run a wire from the open spot on the shock tower harness for the knock sensor and run it to the ecu at d3. Then you can just plug the two together.
