Wait to swap til you have money for a turbo kit.. You won't get more than $500 for the whole swap for a d16 series.. Don't hold your breath.

Remove everything that isnt for a turbo...simple enough.
That includes the dsm injectors, the flashed ecu, the vacuum lines (ports need capping), can the oil feed line port, and obviously, cap the oil pan port (if its a fitting, you can just buy specific caps ~ a bolt is pretty ghetto).

Parts like the injectors and ecu (if its chipped) need to be changed to factory pieces.

Why? If the ECU is tuned to run with those injectors it'll be fine. It'll just never use the boost part of the fuel/ignition maps.

no it wont be fine. if he runs a non turbo car with a turbo mapped ecu, it will run like ****. period.

How could it not use the boost part of the maps? It still has the same rev range.

The ecu is set to run the injectors at a rate that is excessively rich for a stock car. The map is for boost, not stock.
240cc and a factory maps is needed. Not 450 with added fuel and timing.

If I remember right the fuel map has RPM down one side and manifold pressure along the top (maybe the other way around). Each one of those RPM blocks has a corresponding manifold pressure block. Like playing battleship sort of.

If the car was tuned properly, you should have a value from top to bottom, and left to right covering all RPM ranges and manifold pressures.

So at 5K RPM and 5" of vacuum the computer should be able to dump the proper amount of fuel no matter if there is a turbo on the car of not.

Maybe I'm wayyy wrong here. If so, please enlighten me.

ugh, dont matter. I only have a stock p28. I dont have the chipped ecu. I am going to sell the motor + other parts, but the motor is going to be the main source of funds.

So, Plug the oil tap, remove the feed. just plug parts of the vacuum hose and use the other parts to connect my boost gauge? Can I run it with the stock ecu? just no pushing it? I'm pretty sure it's going to be slow with the low compression pistons. Will it just run rich or lean? or will it run fine? Cuz I don't want to damage the motor.

Stock ECU with non-stock injectors isn't going to work at all.
