rewiring the bay- wire harness questions. please help!
hello, i have a 1993 civic cx with a 96 (OBD2a) B18B swap.
the guys that wired the engine wired it for vtec in case i ever wanted to go ls/vtec. so now im trying to convert my car to the right harness so that i wouldnt have to worry about all the ****ed up wiring and all the splicing that they did and just the whole mess of a wiring job. so i bought another integra harness and i started to sleeve it with nylon sleeving and shrink wrap- when i ran across a problem. the part of the harness that plugs into the firewall harness has 4 plugs, whereas the firewall harness has 3. so what is this plug?
old harness plugs:
new harness:
**you can see the plug im talking about on the far left:**
**detailed pics of the 4th plug and the plug that connects to it(sorry if blurry)**
4th plug:
the little plug that connects to the fourth plug:
and the three plugs that do connect to the three plugs that run from the firewall:
also, i bought a 96-98 integra harness. only problem is it is for an automatic. will it work on the manual?

4th plug was for the added sensor(s) on an OBD2 engine. You can just leave it unplugged. I know for sure that it is for CKF.

Yes, the plug you are talking about is for the CKF (Crankshaft Fluctuation sensor). Yes, you can use an auto harness BUT you'll have to run the wires for your reverse lights to the strut plugs so they will continue to work.
