Default Reving in idle?

My EG has a problem where when it's in idle it revs up to 1.5 rpm and back down, and so forth. When this happens, just about 10 minutes later my engine starts to over-heat. When i open up the hood, it sounds as if there is pressure being released by some crack in the hose near the resevoir, now there are no liquids in the resevoir which only means that the excess liquids from my radiator isnt entering the resevoir. Anyone know what may be causing this? And how i am suppose to fix it? This problem only started occuring after i installed my DC Headers. Not sure what is causing it, if anyone could help, itd be much appreciated.

try checking the IAC valve and the overheating problem, you might need a new water pump or thermostat.

u got a vaccum leak somewhere. as for the overheating problem. go pick up a OEM honda thermostat. dont buy one from any other place. trust me i went through 6 thermostats and i went and got a honda one and it worked fine.
If its not ur thermostat my want to check your thermoswitch and your water temp sensor.
