Idle Problem... Searched Still no solution
Well I thought I had this problem figured out and thought it was my IAC valve but come to find out it's not. I changed it out and the idle still moves up and down. Checked the coolant level it seems fine and I looked to see if I could located any vaccum leaks and I can't seem to find any. I sprayed soapy water everywhere to see if there was a change in idle or if the car cut off. Still no luck. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem.
Has it been like this since a rebuild or did it just start doing it out of the blue? I found that if I adjusted the idle screw on the TB it would do it a lot less frequently. I think my problem is mainly that it is an untuned motor.

Pretty much since I put the turbo on. If I disconnect the iac valve it stops but of course I throw a cel. So I'm not sure what to do.

hondata also controls the duty cycle of the idle air controll... if the cars idle is high the computer will try to bring it down after the car heats up and that makes it bounce..did you verify that the fast idle valve is closing? when the idle is bouncing take of the upper charge pipe and look inside the throttle body..there are 2 holes top is air for iac and bottom is fast idle . If the car is heated up th3e bottom hole should not be sucking in air. plug it with your finger and see fi the idle calms down.
If thats the problem take the fast idle off its 2 12mm bolts and 2 coolant line just like the iac but its on the bottom of the throt body. Shake that ***** and if it is rattling like crazy go get another on they are abotu 70$ from honda.
-i would check the simple stuff first and tighten down the idle air screw on the throt bodya dn try to bring the idle down manually it might kill the problem right there..vacc leaks will also **** you up..hope that helps you out bc you need to have all the mechanical **** sorted out before the tune..

could be a bad o2 sensor. is the idle affected right when you start the car (cold engine) or does it start rising and falling after a few minutes when the car goes into closed loop?
