Resetting the ECU?
Ok, i did a search but I didn't really find anything...I have a 00 civic si and i was told that after doin a mod like an intake that you should reset your ecu...now i already have installed intake and exhaust and have not reset the ecu...should I reset the ecu? and how exactly do i do it??

Can't hurt... pull the ECU fuse under the hood or unhook neg bat cable for about 10 min. Start car without touching throttle for about 10 min just letting it idle with all pwr off (radio, domelites etc). Some guys swear that you have to let it idle undisturbed for 20min, shut if off then drive normally. Have fun.

yeah what i do is... i just unhook the battery then like a couple of minutes later just hook it back and the check engine is gone. unless you have a problem with your o2 sensor like me. but i plug it back in but i forgot to try to clear it but i dont want to mess up my cd player so i said **** it.
