A bad manifold typically will not stall a car in the first place. Any CEL's?

Does it die after the first start of the day. I would def check the coil.

exhaust manifold? Even when completely off the car, the engine will still run, loud, but it will run.

Why did you replace the exhaust manifold?
Are you getting intake manifold confused with exhaust manifold?

He said there was a huge crack in the previous one. Probably needed to be replaced anyways.

clean out your IACV or replace it.

If your intake mani is cracked, replace that also as it will cause issues with vacuum.

+ most likely blast a system 2 lean code thus dumping the most amount of fuel possible due to an engine fault,

That is if the car is a 97, that thing must of used gas like a hog while your exhaust was busted.

+2, have seen plenty of bad iacv cause a dying issue roll through the shop, clean the **** out of it and replace the figure 8 gasket, its less than two bucks from honda but, its also most likely a special order gasket.... Let the iacv dry for at least 20 min before putting back on car.... good luck
