I hope those work im on my iphone.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to use to cover where my carpet wasn't long enough on one side and where my fuse box is exposed? I don't know what to do i installed new carpet and it looks good except for it wasnt perfectly flush on that side, can i maybe make a plastic cover for it or have any ideas? Also i replaced my console with a 92-96 prelude console from a diy on here, are thoughts on what to do to cover the gap. i love the console though so much better than stock eg one. any help is appreciated sorry for bad spelling and grammar, I hate typing on my phone

that's your ecu, not your fuse box. there's supposed to be a kick panel there to cover it up, hit up a local junk yard and snag one.
as far as the gap goes, you can go as cheap as using black duct tape, or as baller as using fiberglass and resin to fill it in... but maybe you can find some plastic scraps to fill it in with? or a bandanna?
console looks good btw, book marked a DIY for the lude console into eg incase i get one some day

Re: Help with Interior for EG Hatch
I knew that was an ecu, i was not thinking when i was typing my bad.And i will check a junkyard to see if i can find one but ive looked in dozen of eg coupes, hatches are harder to find and havent seen an ecu kick panel. Thanks i like the console it makes the seats a bitch to get back in but i like it. i was wondering where i could get plastic to mesh it together but im not even sure how to go about it. Ive heard of plastic welding put not even sure if that would even be for this situation.

off topic: do u have any issues with hitting the inside edge of the shift lever releif (the open area of your console that surrounds the shift lever)??? looks nice, the console sits much higher and gives the illusion that the shift lever is shorter huh? post up that DIY link porfavor.
edit: nm i found it

My console is slightly different with the spot of the e-brake. I didn't have any issues with hitting the shift lever relief. The only advice I have for people doing this swap is to make sure you really tighten the e-brake since the console is moved forward to be flush in the front you only get about 3/4 of a pull on the e-brake so it should be tight.

That carpet looks a little cut up, but other than that the ECU is supposed to be under the carpet. It looks to be over the carpet and it looks like the carpet is not as complete as it could be.

Take plastic from any other flat panel in a junkyard, use epoxy to glue it on from behind, then fill it in with bondo to make it flush and paint it. Since its up in a corner you would never notice it was there. I did this exact upgrade with my old eg, unfortunately I sold it and never took any pictures but it looked amazing.
As for the ECU just get a carpet that covers that up, all eg's ecu's are covered by the carpet.

Re: Help with Interior for EG Hatch
The carpet is brand new oem charcoal carpet. I recently replaced it less than a month ago and really don't feel like messing with it again, it was my first time and everything matched up except it was short in that one spot. And I will try the flat panel and bondo it in and paint it, I've never used bondo before but will it not make a mess in my interior when making it flush?

Re: Help with Interior for EG Hatch
Ur gonna have to fab something. I would suggest a black plastic panel cut to fill the space, and just use velcro so it can be installed and removed at will.

Re: Help with Interior for EG Hatch
Your brand new carpet was cut wrong. If I was you I'd be pretty damn pissed. But, if you don't want to go through the hassle again I suggest slicing a piece out of a j-yard carpet then patching it in. Velcro would probably work. Won't be too noticeable since it's pretty hidden.
