Replace the Radiator and thermostat
I need help
my car over heated and found that radiator had crack on top side of cap. I replace the radiator with new one and thermostat, replace the coolant. and after installing I drove over 50 mile without over heating. After few days. Now the car's gauge climbs and water in the tank goes down a I check plugs they fine the oil does not have any water.
please help

May be large air pockets within the lines. Did you properly flush out the radiator with new fluids and make sure to top it off? Also, check to make sure there are no leaks.

Re: Replace the Radiator and thermostat (martiw2)
Turn your heater **** to heat so the coolant can cycle through the heater core pushing the air pockets out of the system. Open the bleader (if you have one) or remove the radiator cap so the air can escape. Add coolant as nessisary.
