removal of clips from dash to get out guages ***stuck, any suggestions?***
I bet everyone has done this, some days Im definately not the sharpest.
I cant get the clips to give to take off black trim around gauge pod to get it out. I dont want to break em so it goes back together all janky. The trim goes all the way around the heater and stuff. I did it in an Altima it was easy, my civic's clips are...well...stuck. There must be a trick to it?

Get a screwdriver and pry them out. I've broken every single one of mine and it still slides in perfectly, there are three screws and several indentations in the piece it will stay in fine...trust me you gotta yank that bish.
