Default Dashtrim Removal

I did a search trying to find out how to remove the dash piece that surrounds the radio in the EG's. Anyways, mine is broken and from the looks of things im gonna have to basically pull the dash to get it off. Is there any easier way to do it? I have a new one on the way, so i thought i would go ahead and start this project early.

Andru,

I just did mine and it sure wasn't easy. To get around pulling the dash off, I went to the local tool store and bought one of those small ratching screwdrivers and removed my gauge cluster and all other stuff on the dash to make it easier to get back there. Try it out before you go removing the dash the whole way. It took me a while and way tiring, but well worth it. Good luck.

How many screws held it in? I have a feeling its not going to be an easy job. How long did it take?

I guess im going to try it your way, which was what i was planning on doing. I will let you know how it turns out. LOL

Hey man if you can get it without removing the dash then props seriously. Just don't pull on it at all. It connects to your dash with abs plastic and you don't want to break those on your dash. Once all 10 or something screws are out it will fall right off. Have fun, because this project isn't.
