Recommended Engine Swaps?
I just bought a 93 hatchback and am looking into motor swaps. I used to be a toyota guy, so Im a little lost in all this Honda stuff. B20 sounds good to me, but seems like a lot of stuff to get. GSR sounds lovely, but is expensive. B16 ...havnt heard verymany good things about it, and H22 also sounds great. Can anyone recommend a good swap for me? Thanks

read this 1/4 miles DOHC thread.

do some searches. "B18" "B16" "H22"
then start reading them. there is plenty of info about these motors.
currently, the B18C1 (GSR) motor is the best all around swap for honda.
hm but 16yrs old, a B16 will be a good start for you, since you're new in the honda game.

H22 will be kind of heavy for a daily driven car, but if you want to make a straight track car go ahead. But i'd say go with b16a2 or b18c1

B Series (b18c, b16a) is one of the easiest swaps you can do.
