Default rear brakes

car 94 ls coupe

REAR breaks are squeaking really bad. especially the passenger REAR.

Where is the cheapest place to pick up so oem rotors and pads? its a daily driver so i just want to keep it cheap and simple.

also the squeaking and the sound of metal on metal would probably means the rotors needs to be replaced along with the pads, right?

AND i dont know when the last time the rear brakes were done.

You might be able to just get the rotors resurfaced and grab some new brake pads. Otherwise, autozone rotors and pads will do you just fine.

AutoZone pads carry a lifetime warranty. When they wear out, you can get another set for free. They run less than $20 for the set of 4 rear pads.

AutoZone rear rotors can be had with either a 1 or 2 year warranty. I always get the 2 year warranty ones, which are only $18 each. I have 2 sets so I can get one resurfaced next time and then just swap it out with what's on my car now.

I've been running AutoZone rotors and pads on all 4 corners with a few autocrosses under my belt for nearly 6 years now, and they've worked just fine.

you can get some pads just get you by and have the rotors cut at pep-boys, auto zone, etc. well that's if the rotors are still good enough to cut. i would just by some pads and brembo blanks online,
