Rear brake piston problems.... Help!
So I have rear disks on my EG, and i'm trying to swap out my pads but the [freak]ing rear piston barely budges.
I'm able to barely turn it, but I can't get it to go in much further. I even have that little cube thing but it barely fits in the caliper.
My question is, is there anything I can do to make this thing go in more? Its pretty much seizing. Is it possible to just put on the front pad, and drive it to a brake shop and get them to do it? This **** is driving me nuts.

how would you use a prybar to compress a piston?
i use a C clamp
that way if it is anti lock i can twist the piston as i compress it

I just threw the shitty pads back on, the brake isnt even working, but I drove it around to see how it drove, seems fine. Tomorrow i'm going to drive it to a shop and have them do it...

The rear caliper puck must be turned and pressed in at the same time. Failure to do so will damage the ebrake mech inside the rear caliper. If you are unable to turn and press the caliper puck back in then you will need to replace the caliper assy. The reman runs around $75 after the return of the core.
