THe real facts about H22 EG Hatches
I know that when I was in the process of doin my swap I was looking for what to expect when I finished. I have a 92 civic VX hatch. It is completely stripped(no airbags, carpet, panels of any kind, AC, heater blower motor, seats) it is just the dash and a seat. I put a h22a1 form a USDM 94 Prelude. The motor is completely stock except for a nuespeed header that was on the motor when I got it. Im using a del sol radiator and have never had any heating problems(and I live in Texas). I used mounts from ebay. I paid $100 and you get what you pay for. The rear is welded to the frame because the bolts don't line up. DON'T GET CHEAP AND GET THE EBAY MOUNTS. Im using stage 0 driveshaft shop axles. My suspention is all stock with H&R springs. I have no exhaust after the stock cat, and im running 215/45/17s on 17x7 rims(way to big for a civic). Now that I have finnished getting it together I decided to find out all the specs for the car.
WEIGHT
Now like I said this car is completely stripped.
DYNO
This is a stock h22a1 with 180k on the motor.
TRACK
Ive only gotten a chance to run at the 1/8th track. 1/4th mile to come on May 16th. Im a begginner at the track and this is on street tires with a single A traction rating. I have lots of spinn and lots to learn on how to launch. I think soon I can have it doun another .2-.4 seconds with practice.

The car is so light that there is nothing to let the power sthold the power to the ground. I have to much spin. Did you see how much torque I have. 130ftlbs is the lowest it gets.

well since its an all out track car, just pick some slicks up right away. jegs has some wheels (jegs brand) that are pretty cheap just for drag racing.
