Radiator fan isnt turning on

Radiator fan isnt turning on
1994 Honda Civic LX automatic tranny.
Just replaced radiator, hoses, thermostat, radiator fan, and cooling fan relay.
Turned on car with radiator cap off to get air bubbles out. Topped
it off and put cap on. Left the car idling for a while and all the hoses
eventually got warm, but fan did not turn on. AC fan turns on but not the
radiator one. Temp gauge goes up halfway as normal. Is it normal that fan isn't
coming on yet?

Re: Radiator fan isnt turning on
Easy way is to just jump the harness. IIRC, you take the coolant temp sensor plug off, then use a bobby pin, or a piece of wire to connect the circut. Then the fan just turns on with the switch. Takes a bit longer to warm up, but fixes the fan switch problem.

if you verify that fan is working, thats half the problem, try to keep it idling and watch your temps, if it gets to about half and fan still doesn't turn on, could be a bad engine temp sensor
