Default QUiet exhaust for a 99 civic turbo?

Anyone know of a good quiet muffler I can get for my turbo project? Preferably cheap but anything helps

are you talking about the 3" universal tip from apexi? cuz a regular apexi ws would be restrictive for a turbo setup unless you just had like an edelbrock turbo kit or something simple like that. thermal r&d makes a 3" exhaust system that's supposed to be great. search around youtube for exhaust clips.

Just about any straight through muffler would work, the turbo its self kills most of the sound, i drove around with only a down pipe for a year, and it was more quieter than most catless N/A exhausts

3 inch piping, 3 inch resonator, 3 inch magnaflow straight-through. good stuff right there.

Apex WSII or RS-R EXMAG. I like the RSR more better.

Thanks for all the replies I wound up buying a summit turbo muffler and a hush II resonator altogether w/tax it was 130. to my door the next day. I had a saved search on ebay for a apexi, greddy, HkS sport, RS R ex-mag, and tanabe touring medallion. I had a saved search on all those and never found one for under 300.00 even used stuff was selling for over 200. I found a video on youtube of a civic with summit turbo muffler and it sounded like stock at idle. So I am hoping with the resonator it will be really quiet. By the way the muffler was like 20 bucks. I will post again to let you guys know how it sounds. I also went with 2.5" I have a T25 turbo running 8psi.

its true... i tried a 5zigen Fireball Exhaust and it sounded loud when you are in the car... but, when everyone told me it was quiet standing outside, i had my buddy drive it... it was true...

Quiet exhaust you say? Go either with the GReddy Evo 2 or Fujitsubo RM01A.
