Quick Help! Engine Harness I.D. (EK Civic)
Here is my problem. I have a 97 Civic EX with a OBD2a ECU. Im positive. Im running a D16y8 motor. I gave my friend my harness, b/c i thought about doing a swap but ended up getting a new d16y8 block to replace mine. Anyway, I got a new harness and it suppose to be a OBD2a from a 97 civic, but i beg the differ. can someone tell me what the heck is missing from this harness. The alternator plug was cut off and I sodered another one one b/c the wires were still on the harness. I thought there was a missing ECU plug and I think it is an OBD2b harness that i have. Someone let me know please! thanks. Only the blue plug went into the 3rd slot also know as "C" and the green plug went in; the one mounted on the side of the ECU. The remaining plug, the gray one, did no fit anywhere, plus, I would be missing Plug "D" the small one for the back of the ECU.
Here is the harness I was sent:
And Here is a pic of the female plugs on my ECU, if you need.

yeah i figured that... and the "A" slot on the ECU is likt injectors... ect.. ect... so its all important. And I dont have one that fits in there.... all and all either i send it to Rywire to get it re-wired... or find a new one...

if i remember correctly my Si harness only had two plugs and a green one just like yours so mostly like it
is an si harness, check the injector plugs and vtec plugs, in obd2b non si harness the dizzy plug should be smaller plug, the SI harness has the big plug like all the integras and civic
