Default quick header question- b16 vs GSR header into a EG hatch?

Hey guys right now i have a b16 in my hatch and have a dc sports header. I am putting a poor mans type r into it in a week or so (waiting for parts to come in) but am wondering do i need a different header? Could i use a GSR header, because i am looking at buying a edelbrock header- Let me know thanks

You could run any B series header if you like. Only catch might be the lenght of the header so you may need to go to a muffler shop.

cool- someone else told me that the GSR is a taller motor, so i am worried about the header hitting oilpan- coudl this happen>?

If your DC header was made for a B16, you might have issues with the oil pan clearance on the GSR block/oil pan. People have had issues with the clearances but I myself put my old B16 exhaust manifold onto my friends GSR. The clearance was insanely close but just missed from hitting the oil pan.

If you plan on getting an Edelbrock (not worth it in my opinion) make sure its for a GSR.
