Quick Brake Question
When i swap out my stock Civic stoppers ( front and rear) for the GSR compnents ( front and rear ) do i need to get the master cylinder from the GSR ? or all i need to get is the proportional valve ?
My pedal travel is my greater and the to me it doesnt feel like it wants to stop. From all my reading i was informed that all i will need is the proportional valve from the GSR. But a guy at the local work shop told me that i need the mastercylinder not the proportional valve. Which is it?

Re: Quick Brake Question (eg6madness)
What car do you have, and what model, and what year GSR did you get the brakes from?
Proportioning valves control the rate of apply for the rear brakes, having one that has too much give will lock up the rears.
Are all the lines fully bled? Is it spongy, or simply low? Using a larger caliper piston will increase pedal effort because more fluid must be displaced to apply the same pressure to the larger piston.

Re: Quick Brake Question (slowcivic2k)
they are goin on a 93 EG hatch VTi, that originally came with the D15B vtec, the car now has the B18C. The GSR brakes came off the 94 GSR ( the one with the 4 circle lights).
The pedal isnt spongy it just goes further ( simply low).
I am goin home now and i will rebleed the lines in the correct order.
