questions on d16 ecu...usdm/jdm/ex/si
i have a 94 cx hatch.
i want a d16a but probably get d16z6 cuz i want it to pass smog(can d16a pass smog in california?)
i want to know which ecu is best for the d16z6 motor. is the ex usdm ecu same as the si usdm ecu? can i run the jdm sir ecu for the d16z6? would it run good?
also what is the best tranny to run with that motor. is ex tranny same as si tranny. and what about jdm trannys? thanks.

Re: questions on d16 ecu...usdm/jdm/ex/si (lv6l)
The best ECU to run on that motor is going to be the p28. And yes, the EX and Si trannsmissions are both the same, as are the JDM transmissions for the EX and Si or whatever the equivilent is over there.

what about the sir ecu in japan? good or no good. i see some ecu on ebay that says its been chipp from spoon or mugen, sounds like scammers, a lot of people told me they dont work good at all, overall better than stock unchipp?
