Default is a ex ecu the same as a si

so yea i did a d16z6 swap and my stock cx ecu as u know is not for the vtec i found a ex ecu i think it was a p08 but is that the ecu i would want. or is it the backwards vtec ecu (for economy)

the ecu your looking for would be a p28
the 5th gen si and ex share the same motors and ecus

correct me if im wrong

yea i know the p28 is the si one but will the ex one do the same as a p28 i just dont want a economy vtec ecu and i cant find a p28 for cheep

A p08 is a JDM 92-95 OBD-1 for a D15

dude... they are identical. p28 is the ecu # for both si and ex.
and ill sell u mine for 50 bucks

just in case u want to know.... it came out of an ex

a p28 for 50 bucks? are you stupid? you can get at least 100 for that! I paid 85 for mine, and that was a STEAL

beenr eading some other post it sounds like the p08 is onley jdm...how is that if i found one in a junk yard in a stock looking ex....

maybe someone got to the salvage yard car before you and swapped in their jdm ecu for the p28.
