questions about d16y7/z6 head swap and crank pulley
hey, ive got a da6y7 and a z6 head, i want to know if i need a z6 dizzy or if i can use my y7, also i would like to know if i could put my crank pully in the lathe and cut off the power steering and AC part, as i dont feel like spending $220 on a new pulley, but i still want to only have one pulley, its a 96 CX, so it came stock without power steering and no A/C, other wise i was thinking about if a pulley from B series would fit, since the Type R only had the alternator

You can use the Z6 dizzy, you'll just have to rewire your harness plug. Machine your crank pulley or go aftermarket...the bseries snout sizes are different so the CTR is out.

also wondering if a d16Z6 crank pulley would work on a y7/y8, considering that they are both pretty much the same motor, just wondering? i found a stock steel y8 crank pulley for $30, but i kinda of want an aluminum one, and the only ones i can find for under $50 are for the EG, so would that work or not?

Minimal gains from a lighter-weight pulley...I'd not wanna risk an unbalanced pulley doing havock to my motor. Not saying that milling isn't going to work, cuz I know my Dad could do it, but I've left my Z6 pulley on my VX hatch w/ a Z6 swap and don't have anything to complain about.
