Mini-me Crank Pulley Questions
I have a 95 Civic and just did a oem-rebuilt mini me swap z6/b1 setup. I am currently using my z6 crank pulley on the d15 block which enabled me to use my original z6 alternator and power steering. It runs good and currently in break-in progress.
My questions are:
Is it ok/better/worst to use the z6 crank pulley that has rubber dampening on the d15 block?
Should I swap to the d15 crank pulley, change the pulleys on the alternator and power steering to the d15 pulleys?
Does the d15 block need the dampening on the crank pulley like the longer stroke d16?
And, in my case, could I simply get a lightweight OEM size crank pulley for a z6 that doesn't have dampening since I have a d15 block?
I guess in general, I'm wondering if I should swap back to a d15 crank pulley or non-dampened pulley since I'm using the d15 block. As of right now, the d15 crank pulley would force me to change acouple things since I'm using the stock d16 power steering and alternator with its pulleys and belts specs. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
