Default question a cx swap?

hey guys i own a cx ? dont have too much money so i was thinking in a ex swap with header exhaust an cold air intake, can i beat a stock 93 accord non vtec, an 98 stock jetta? and if not a good swap what do u recomend dont say b18 cuz i know thats good but not enough money and i cant wait cuz its over 200,000 miles!!!! answers asap please

Yep You'd probably be able to run low/mid 15's with a D16Z6 or JDM D15B swap

If you swap in a good d16z6 or even a d15b you will have decent power. The exhaust on a CX sucks really bad so if you got a good set of headers and exhaust as well as a intake you should be running pretty quick as the CX is light. You just have to know how to drive, I beat an all stock accord in my CRX si, which has less power than the d16 vtec, but i guess the weight was a big issue. So basically if you do the swap and you can drive you will be straight, ALSO TRY SEARCHING, there are tons of info you can get on the d16 or d15 swaps!

well thanks guys,,, um what can i do to that engine too move a faster with out spending to much money????? and will i feel a big difernce between a cx motor and the d16??? sorry if the question is dumb

cx = ~70hp

z6 = ~120hp i think

u will feel a big difference, swap is definetly worth the money.

Go to Hmotorsonline, they sell the d15 (130hp)vtec for like 700 I think with a new tranny. You can reuse most of your otherparts, get a p28. Exhaust I have the apexi n1 it is loud, my friend has the greddy sp2 on his car it is quiet it is all preference
