Yes you can, if you want to get made fun of a lot and probably beat up. It will decrease performance and you will look like a douche.

some companies make an intercooler style intake - imo it's pretty lame. you are much better off buying a short ram intake. you will lose alot of throttle response with the intake being that long, if it rains the water will more than likely ruin the filter and it could suck up some water. can you use an intercooler as an intake?? probably, with fabrication. but like the others said, you will probably take some heat for doing that.

just save yourself the headache, buy a short ram intake and call it a day.
