Re: question about shift linkage (EDVxRICHARD)
you need the b series shift linkage, and to remove the remaining linkage, there is a rubber boot againt your tranny slide that back to remove the spring pin.
do a search on here for bitch pin and you will see how to remove it
here i found one for ya

Re: question about shift linkage (EDVxRICHARD)
there should be a pin on the other side connectiong tothe transmission. you need to find something that will fit in it and boot it out. thats what i did. good luck

take a 8mm punch and beat it out, and you will see why its called a bitch pin.
or leave it in and remove your linkage from the other side(under the shifter) because you cant use it with the b tranny anyways

Re: question about shift linkage (EDVxRICHARD)
it depends what si linkage you want. you just need to get the b serirs linkage.
i think to buy a new set you have to go through the dealer, or try h-t's classifieds

Correct. And the pin is on the end of the linkage that connects to the tranny. Sometimes referred to as the 'bitch pin'.
