question about ride height and shipping
i have a 92 civic hatch and it is really low to the ground probably like 1 1/2in off i did not do that it came that way but i want to know if i raise it will i loose any cornering ability.
my other question is about shipping large items and how to go about doing it like i am buying a tranny and i want to figure out if the guy can just take it to UPS on a pallet or if he has to get some other company to come and pick it up from him pm me or post thanks

i have an account with fedex, you can put an appointment for them to come pick up the box. i shipped a tranny before, it was like $110 . i had put it in a box, filled with popcorn. you have to put it in one of those double layered cardboard boxes.
i think you can do the same with USPS, UPS...

FedEx Freight it if you have access to a business address that it can ship to.
I bought a tranny as well from someone in Chicago. I did a search for the closest FedEx station to him. He drove it over and dropped it off. Same deal here as fventura03 though. I used my works account so it was no cost to the seller.
I don't know how he took it to them, but it showed up on a double pallet, cardboard box somewhat over the tranny, a couple bands & a half *** job of that 12" wide plastic wrapping. It was about $100.00 and showed up in 2 days. It arrived at my work on a truck & we fork lifted it off.
I'm not sure how they would do a home address. If your shipping to a home address just have a buddy or two around because I don't think them truck drivers will offer any assistance getting it off their truck.

I'll agree here, especially if your having any rubbing issues being that low.
Good Luck
