Default Shipping a Tranny?

I need to ship a transmission but don't know what box to use or where to get one. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

monitor box with the styrophome is a great option, i used 2 small boxes and some towels for packing mine when i shipped it.

ups, fedex etc

they will ship stuff up to 150lbs

36$ for me to ship from tucson to socal ground 2days fedex, 87.5lb package.

and please for the buyer's sake, tape that box up good. the ups guy brought mine off the truck and passed it to me, and the bottom fell through, a gazillion peanuts came out along with my tranny, about 1 foot drop , landed on some peanuts...but it took me about 1/2 an hour to clean up the peanuts with a swirling wind around me. i looked retarded out there chasing these peanuts with a dustpan and broom, i tell ya!

That visual is just too funny! but thanks for the imput.. i got the double thick cardboard and some packing sheets they had.. they were 5 bucks a sheet and got 3 for free but i packed it in tight.. put tonz of tape on it too. probably put more on just in case
