question about map sensor
well my setup is almost complete and i am going to run uberdata, but i am not going to have a o2 sensor, just my wideband, so i will be running in closed loop mode, my question is, i thought in closed loop mode your ecu ignores the sensors, so wouldn't it ignore the map sensor also? so couldn't i boost s much as i want in closed loop mode?
thanks guys

Re: question about map sensor (Btothe3rdDegree)
Closed loop looks at the O2 sensor to make corrections to the amount of fuel injected.
Open loop ignores the O2 sensor for sure, I am sure that it use the TPS, MAP and ECT sensors to determine fuel and timing from a predertmined fuel/timing map. Just out of curiosity, why will you not be using open loop?
I believe that there are wideband O2 sensors that can mimick the signal needed for the ECU.
