O2 sensor measures exhaust gases in the exhaust manifold, and MAP measures the pressure in the intake manifold.
I have no idea if they are systematically connected, but I wouldn't imagine so, considering they have completely different function.

Im.. just wondering if you might help me with my issue?.. I just finshed installing a EX harness i got a 1995 civic DX.. Coupe with a jdm 1.5 Vtec.. im having problems with the map sensor. ive put 3 different sensor out of my friend cars that run.. with no problems.. and i have the p28.. the O2 sensor code 41. and the Code 3 witch is map sensor.. i dont know what else to do plz help!!!

Your Map will work w/o the O2 sensor BUT those sensors DO work together. The computer needs to know when your stepping on the gas(map value increases with mani vacuum decrease) and your O2 values should change with that. it needs to have both inputs for fuel trim changes.
PS remember that your Heated O2 sensor(first sensor) only measures the amount of oxygen in the exhaust, nothing else. the second O2 sensor ONLY measures the efficiency
of your cat converter.
