Weird O2 Sensor issue...
One day last summer I was driving the rex and I stepped on it a bit and my
CEL light came on, and after it comes on anytime I give it gas or take my
foot off the car jerks (Very Annoying). If I turn the car off and right back
on, it instantly goes away. This happens usually anytime I pass around 7000
RPMs, I found out it had to do with the O2 sensor so I unplugged it and that
fixed it, the car also felt like it had a bit more torque.
I have been driving it that way ever since, recently I noticed a smell of
fuel rich exhaust in the car when I am driving. It happens mostly when I
am either stepping on it or climbing a hill, sometimes even when I downshift
into 4th from like 60 MPH. So now I have heard that if you run without the O2
sensor you are running on the base map used to warm the car up until the O2
sensor reads.. but since no O2 sensor it just runs the base map which I heard
is somewhat rich. Since I have been smelling the smell it's made me wonder if I should get my O2 sensor working properly, plus it would be nice to get rid of the CEL light.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

this is kinda stupid question. just get new o2 sensor. a bad o2 or in your case a not runing an o2 at all will cause it to run rich. i think you answered your own question in there somewhere.
