Question about extended emissions warranty
I think my 96 HB falls under the emissions warranty for my CEL 67 bad cat. 14yrs or 150k miles. Will the dealership charge me any fees for taking the car in? I have a D16y7 with a D16y8 manifold on it. Will that void the warranty? Also I have a ES oval axle back exhaust on it. Does that mod have anything to do with the catalytic converter in voiding the warranty? Will those two things have anything to void my warranty? Everything else is stock.

i know this seems like a crazy idea but i think you would get a more productive answer by going to the dealer and asking them these questions.

here call honda direct 1800-999-1009
state your issue and they will make a appointment for you, dealers sometimes don't know what you are talking about, and especially if you talk to someone new, set up the appointment through the 1800 # and go from there, The dealer wants your money the last thing they want to do is free work.
I am not sure, but I think it falls under only 97 and 98 models, but i can be wrong
