Question....4-2-1 Header,Race muffler, High-flow Cat/Test Pipe, Stock(oem) piping....
Ok, I have been running a 4-2-1 Header for awhile. Time to do the rest of the exhaust. I have a High-Flow Cat/Test Pipe (minimal burn restriction), and a High-Flow N1 Muffler. I am going to use my stock (oem) cat back piping. In other words I am gonna keep the stock resonator and the only change to the pipe will be cutting the stock muffler off, extending the pipe and welding in the muffler and hanger.
I NEED FEEDBACK on what kind of results I can expect out of this. None of my friends have done this (they all forked over the cash for a total system). I prefer to make my money stretch all over the car however and not just one or two places. I know the smaller piping is a little more restrictive, but with the right parts in all the other places, shouldn't It be just as good?

do it right the irst time and get full exhust. you already spent money on the header and muffler, now sell the test pipe to put toward custom piping from the header back...its not that expensive and you won't have to worry about it later. if you care about sound though you might want to add a resonator...its gonna be loud as hell without it.

you wont gain any power if thats what your asking. save up and get a full catback system, or go to a muffler shop and have them make you one for mad cheap.
