pulling an engine?
whats the easiest way to pull an engine out of a civic? im thinking i might perform my own swap but i am not sure if i have all the tools. is there a steb by step thread?

There are step by step threads all over the place... look in the FAQ stickied at the top. Or look around this page. I'm sure you'll find one.
As for tools, you'll need metric sockets... like a 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 19mm, and I think a 22mm. Ratchet extensions. And an impact or bigass breaker bar. Either a pickle fork or a big hammer. Jackstands. An engine hoist. Flathead and phillips screwdrivers.
Pulling an engine isn't hard - disconnect everything and hoist it out. Getting a new one in and running is a little tougher.
