Progress Spring installation help

Hey, I just bought some Progress springs from purplehatchy03 and i don't have instruction. The spring has a flat section, is that the top?

Like you know how 1 side is flat and the other side is round (the coil), is the flat part the top?

yes

it is almost impossible to put them on wrong

longer/thicker up front
shorter/thinner in back
