problems running p30's
anyone have trouble running a p30 on there d16z6
I have a 88 crx obd1 converted running d16z6 turbo, runs good (no cel's) on p28's socketed.
I have tryed a p30 socketed usdm and get a cel 14 for iacv
I tryed a p30 jdm socketed and get a cel 13 and 14 for map and iacv
is there something different with the wiring i have to do to run a p30 on a d16z6 motor?

Not without throwing a code. I would never use a DOHC ecu on a SOHC and vice versa unless if it was chipped for it. Use what you have for your engine.

There was another user on here using a JDM P30 on his D16Z6. Blew the engine to pieces.
BTW, why ARE you trying to run a P30 on your setup? Isn't the socketed P28 enough?
