Default Running Rich

stock d15b vtec on virgin p28 ecu
swapped into an 89 CRX

The engine has a hard time holding a steady idle. Running very rich, and getting a CEL #43. i replaced the dizzy cap, rotor, plug wires, and plugs. turned on the engine and drove it around the block. fouled out the plugs immediately. all four were burnt black. getting white smoke out of the exhaust.

could it be BHG ?
maybe the rings are shot?

i could be wrong but i think your running the wrong ECU... P28 is the D16 Vtec ecu.. i think you want a P06.
